Now that Christmas is over, our group are getting fit and active on a beautiful winters walk along Ripon canal.
They are leaving their sofas behind and heading out for some gentle exercise.
We all know that walking is beneficial for us physically. It can help to lower your blood pressure, and increase your flexibility and joint movement,
But did you know that its also great for your mental health?
Walking releases endorphins, which can reduce stress, alleviate anxiety, and boost your mood!
Joining a walking group is also a great way to meet new people, and form friendships.
It's fun and enables you to see nature at its best!
