Craft & Social students enjoyed a wonderfully nostalgic day out in Holmfirth, wandering between iconic filming spots from Last of the Summer Wine. They popped into Sid’s Café for a look at where the famous trio once plotted their mischief, then strolled up to Nora Batty’s house, for a glimpse of her wrinkled stockings. The adventure continued at The Carding Shed, a quirky car museum which featured the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard, and a number of classic cars. To complete the day, the group enjoyed a delicious belly busting lunch at The Fleece. All in all, it was a brilliant day filled with laughter, nostalgia, and absolutely no runaway bathtubs!
