We've moved.....finally a place to call our own!

After almost 20 years of providing services, we are thrilled to announce that The Gift People have moved into new premises, and this time, they belongs to us! Having leased for all these years, placing huge amounts out time and money into making the building suit our needs, but never fully knowing how long we we would be there, the future of The Gift People is now secure.

Our new premises is a purpose built day service, offering huge benefits over our previous places. From its location in the heart of Knaresborough offering amazing views over the viaduct and train station, its creature comforts with underfloor heating and air conditioning, to its accessibility with push button door openers and a lift, it really is the ideal place to provide our services.

We are currently making alterations to the building, so that we can provide the very best environments for are classes and workshops to take place in. These include a new workroom which will be used for our woodwork, mosaic and ceramic classes, and a fully equipped music room, encouraging our budding musicians. We will also be giving the reception area a modern and welcoming new look.

Once work is complete we intend to hold an official opening day, and would like to welcome everyone to visit the place we are all so proud of.
